主讲人简介

Mary A. Weiss 博士是美国Temple大学风险管理、保险与医疗管理系教授，她曾任美国保险学术委员会（American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA)）的主席，现任Risk Management and Insurance Review的主编和Journal of Risk and Insurance的副主编。她共计发表过超过30篇集中于金融服务整合、效用度量、无过失汽车保险、再保险、监管和风险控制方面的学术论文。她的文章在Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Business, Management Science, The Journal of Financial Intermediation, The Journal of Risk and Insurance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance Theory and Contingencies均有发表，并获得过来自The Journal of Risk and Insurance, the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) 和The Journal of Financial Intermediation杂志的嘉奖。Weiss 博士在美国风险管理与保险协会的年会上有过多次精彩的演讲，她也在National Bureau of Economic Research, the Brookings Institution, the Casualty Actuarial Society, Risk Theory Society, the Financial Management Association, the Western Economic Association, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the Atlantic Economic Society, the Allied Social Sciences Association, and at conferences sponsored by the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and New York等会议上有过演讲。她在宾夕法尼亚的沃顿商学院取得博士学位后于1986年加盟Temple大学。 2004年至2006年作为访问学者重返沃顿商学院。2004年被选为沃顿商学院的杰出校友。她的履历被美国著名网站Who’s Who于2007年收录。2009年至2010年她作为杰出学者任职于NAIC’s Center for Insurance Policy & Research智库。
